Sam Hamann is the creative force behind Olive'rTwist, a design, motion graphics, compositing company based in Southern California. Sam has been working in the Los Angeles area in the Post Production business on Mac and Quantel equipment for 15 years. Starting on the Paintbox and DFX systems, he moved to operating the first Hal in North America and continued on to Henry where he did compositing and animation for television commercials, on-air promos, network packages, movie trailers, music videos and more. He is now working on the eQ and iQ as well as the Mac platform.

Both in facilities in Los Angeles like Planet Blue, Post Logic and View Studios and on his own, Sam has worked with Creative and Art Directors to bring their vision to reality as well as creating and designing motion and print graphics from the ground up. With an extensive knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, and a working under-standing of Cinema 4D, Sam can match the software to the project and deliver the job.

Whether it is creating the open for Oprah's show or graphics for the Olympic in Nagano, Sam has worked with major corporations creating an impact. From launches with Apple, Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Volkswagon to spots for all the major networks to posters and postcards for local theater groups, Sam has run the gamut of graphics. As a member of the community in Ojai, Sam also serves on the Board of the Ojai Playwright's Conference which is devoted to new play development focusing on the compelling political and cultural issues of our time and the Ojai Valley Shakespeare Festival, bringing great theater to the Libbey Bowl. He also serves in an advisory capacity to the Ojai Film Festival.
